  • For security reasons we ask that each person supply:  

    • your name 

    • home address

    • phone number

This information will go into the RHE directory and will be helpful for collaborating and communicating with one another.  

  • You must live and/or home educate in the Calhoun, Liberty, Gadsden, Jackson, or Washington County areas of Florida. 

  • Each calendar school-year, attend at least 4 events, gatherings, or activities; for example: field trips, beginning or end of year celebrations, park day, Parents’ Night Out, etc.  We feel your active presence in group functions are key in making our group a positive and enriching addition to each family's home education program, as well as the group as a whole.  Each will also serve as a way for parents to socialize and enjoy one another's company.

  • Serve RHE by assisting with or planning at least one event (not a requirement your first year of membership). This could include but is not limited to the following:

    • Set-up or clean up

    • Food coordination

    • Volunteer to man a specific station at an event 

    • Help coordinate a field trip

    • Teach or assist with a co-op class

    • Serve as a board member at large for one quarter

  • Our private Facebook group is our primary mode of communicating.

  • Any new families interested in becoming members of RHE, must attend one event before being added into our system.

  • All students need to be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian to all RHE functions. In the event you cannot be present but would still like your children to participate, you are responsible for securing prior arrangements with another RHE parent to take responsibility for your children in which case a board member should be notified of this arrangement.



  • All postings on the message board need to concern home education or be group related and be positive, encouraging, uplifting, supportive and helpful. 

  • This group is not affiliated with any specific church, denomination, or political party; however, we desire to have a Christian atmosphere and attitude in all that we do. Please keep this in mind and impress this to your children. While we are a religiously tolerant group, we ask that there be no debating of doctrinal beliefs or political views on the message board.

  • Our treasurer and activity coordinators work diligently to find ways to reduce the costs for our group to attend field-trips and participate in co-op classes; however, on occasion, these activities will require a fee per attendant. As a result, it is important for us to work together to make the payment process as streamlined and stress-free as possible. In order to accomplish this, we have set some global rules. Please acquaint yourself with the following addition to our requirements and guidelines:


  • Payment for field-trips and co-op classes is required at sign-up, via PayPal to Candra, or in cash before the start of the program. Failure to cooperate in this manner may restrict your family from participating. If you haven’t paid and you have still participated in the program, you will be unable to sign-up to participate in subsequent programs, until payment has been fulfilled.

  • If your family would like to participate but the cost of the program is too much, please either let us know when you sign-up, or email Candra privately.
